Terms of Insurance
Insurance Certificate
The Certificate shall only become effective when it is issued by US NetCare or a
body acting on its behalf. On acceptance, the application form becomes part of the
Insurance Certificate. Premium payment must be submitted at the time of the application.
In consideration of the payment of the required premium by the Insured Person, the
Company will pay or indemnify the person named in the Certificate (hereinafter called
the Insured Person) in accordance with the terms and limitations of each Benefit
and subject to the general conditions and exclusions.
Validity of Insurance
This insurance is valid in the US for students and other individuals who are not
US passport holders for the period of the Policy as stated in the Certificate. Covered
individuals and dependent children under the age of 19 traveling in the US or outside
of the US during the term of this policy will be covered for medically necessary
expenses according to the terms and limitations of each Benefit.
Period of Insurance
This insurance commences on the latest of the following: the date of departure from
your home country; the date the Administrator received the completed enrolment form;
the date the required premium is paid; the date requested on the enrolment form;
or the date of arrival to the USA. This insurance will terminate on the earliest
of the following: the date of return to the insured home country; the date the insured
is no longer eligible for this insurance; or the last day of which premium has been
paid for.
Note: The maximum initial Period of Insurance that can be taken out is 12 months.
The insured person can renew coverage as long as appropriate premium is paid and
renewal is made prior to expiration of the policy.
